We do research to find the way for the slim use of tree systems for comfort improvement in cities. Our applied research together with Green Village is focusing on the superuse of our ‘air-suspended tree concept’ as ‘living climate machines’ for the nearby future.
Worldwide urbanisation is developing zo fast and intensive that new innovative green arrangements has to be implemented to improve the comfort and de quality of life in (mega)cities word wide.We promote the superuse of smart living tree systems as climate proof tree biotopes to improve the micro-climate in (mega)cities. Our argument for the introduction of vital living jungles in megacities is that functional made second nature systems are able to grow, while regular used climate installation is aging from the moment that it is installed and taken in to use. It is our vision that a living tree- or a tree biotope systems can improve it skills while growing, to be a better, feasible and comfortable alternative solution for the use of energy inefficient air condition systems as we are using them now in cities. We see the bio diversification of our cities as an technical challenge for radical comfort improvement in cities. Nature = innovative technology is our motto!
- The World Green Infrastructure Congress 2016 (WGIC Bogota 2016) proclaimed an enormous increase of climate proof use of tree-biotopes for the wanted functional bio diversification of (mega)cities worldwide- We stimulate the upcoming ‘circular economy’ with tree-innovation and new (social) business cases, to support the perspective on new qualified employment for everybody in cities- We use the forgotten and largely neglected roofscapes in the inner cities for functional second nature development, and the largescale introduction of new generations of ‘living climate machines’- We harvest kinetic energy of ‘air-suspended trees’ to produce tree electricity in such amounts that we are able to monitor the functioning of trees as bio based ‘living climate systems.’
